- Frannie is a junior copy editor at a publishing house in New York City when she lands the account of her favorite author, Michael Tate. Everything is coming together nicely for her until she finds out she is pregnant by Calvin, her boyfriend of just a few months. They decide to do the honorable thing and buy a house in the suburbs. However, when a stranger comes to town and offers her a job back in the city, she must decide to leave it in the past or go forward with her dream
